Getting Support

Who can apply for our dogs?

Anyone who has a child with a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum may apply for either a Service Dog or a Companion Dog.

Autism Service Dogs

Autism Service Dogs are trained to travel everywhere with the recipient family. They have full public access rights and can travel on all public transport.

Therapy Service Dogs

We at My Canine Companion are so excited about our school therapy programmes which we are currently developing.

Companion Dogs

Companion dogs are dogs trained to the same standard as a Service Dog but do not have the same access rights as a Service Dog.
