Christmas Visits are so much better with your best friend!
Christmas can be such an overwhelming time, with the lights, the hustle and bustle and the excitement around. This is the reality for so many of our families.
Christmas 2020 is a year like no other, and so much has changed for everyone.
Visits to see Santa have changed, trips out and about are so different, annual events have been cancelled, and these changes can be quite overwhelming.
We have received so many pictures of our My Canine Companion Service Dogs working hard to make sure their best friends cope in this new normal, and the smiles just say it all!
Our dogs provide safety, reassurance and emotional support for the children, and their families in these strange times, meaning families can enjoy the run up to Christmas together.
This year may be a different to any other, but it is so lovely to see our dogs working hard to ensure their kids can have a small bit of normality, and enjoy their Christmas experiences together.
My Canine Companion Service dog, Yoko, and her best friend Mia enjoyed a trip to see Santa together. those smiles say it all!
Bethany and service dog, Gia, made sure to smile for a Christmas picture together. Having the support of Gia makes these visits so much easier for Bethany.
Service Dog Dora is still supporting Cian, after all these years, and it is fantastic to see this gorgeous family picture.
Riley and Service Dog Willow made a visit to the amazing Belvelly Castle to see the lights together, with Willow keeping Riley safe through attachment.
Well done guys!
It is definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
