Ireland’s largest service dog provider opens 2022 waiting list, accepting 70 client families.

Ireland’s largest service dog provider, My Canine Companion Autism and Therapy services, has announced their 2022 list will be opening, accepting 70 client families.

Great News

We are delighted to inform you that after working through our 2021 list we are now able to open our waiting list for 2022.

We will be accepting 70 new families this year.

Unfortunately, as the demand is so high, we must use a computer random number generator for this process.

This will take place on June 7th 2022, and the process will be overseen by an independent adjudicator. All applicants randomly selected will be contacted by email on this day.

The expression of interest form below must now be filled out by anyone interested in applying for our 2022 list.

Please note this is a new form, your details will not be carried over from previous years.

Expressions of interest are open until June 7th at 10am. Any expression of interest made after this time will not be considered for our 2022 list.

Please Note:

  • Proof of diagnosis will be required on successful application.

  • Only the caregiver is eligible to express interest in the list, with one expression of interest per child/young adult permitted. Multiple expressions of interest for the same child/young adult will not be considered.

  • All successful applicants will be required to attend an information session, in Cork, before the end of June. Dates and times of these sessions will be shared on successful application.

Thank you
