MEET MCC SCHOOL THERAPY DOG, ZORRO, WHO SUPPORTS THE CHILDREN OF CBS PRIMARY SCHOOL TRALEE
"MCC School Therapy Dog Zorro is our school therapy dog. He joined the staff of CBS Primary school Tralee in August 2021.
On his first day he founded the 'Under the Table Club' - a safe haven to chat, be busy or do nothing, feel safe, release anxiety or pent up emotion, release fizzyness or just be.
(The Under the Table Club is not just confined to being under a table. It is anywhere that MCC School Therapy Dog Zorro is .... a gathering occurs..... and the club is in session . ) New members are welcome anytime and old members are welcomed back every time.
In CBS Primary Tralee "where everybody is a somebody", MCC School Therapy Dog Zorro is a celebrity, a superhero, a counsellor, a teacher, our canine companion and friend.

My Canine Companion introduced Ireland's first school therapy programme, and our school therapy dogs, like Zorro, are now supporting children in schools nationwide!!
